Antoon Van Hooft
Antoon has been teaching at several Waldorf schools in the Netherlands for the last 30 years. He mainly taught chemistry classes (main lessons + chemistry lessons) from grade 7 to 12. He also taught science, physics and biology main lessons. Besides his teaching duties, he did management activities and was director of the Waldorf School in Eindhoven (NL). In October 2015 he taught chemistry to 9th grade students in India and gave a course in phenomenology for the teachers.
He graduated in 1978 from the University of Utrecht (NL). He has done courses in phenomenology, management and coaching. He attended a year’s program at the Centre for Social Development in Forrest Row, England. He worked with Dr. Manfred von Mackensen at the Educational Research Centre in Kassel, Germany for two years. In 1993 he attended a year’s course in Goetheanistic science at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland.
