Julia O'Leary
Julia O'Leary was born in Zimbabwe and began her training in Eurythmy at the age of 21 after completing a Fine Arts degree with a major in Sculpture. As a mother and primary provider for her family, she established an Art and Craft school for children while also teaching crafts and Eurythmy at the high school level at Constantia Waldorf School. Her work in education later led her to become a class teacher at Khanyisa Waldorf School for Support Education, an experience that inspired her to further specialise as a Eurythmy Therapist.
For the past thirty years, Julia has worked as a Eurythmy Therapist in Waldorf schools and in private practice, supporting children and adults through therapeutic movement. She has also played a significant role in the training of future Eurythmy Therapists, serving as a trainer at the Southern Cross Eurythmy Therapy Training programme, where she has guided qualified Eurythmists in their professional therapeutic development.
Her work brings together artistic insight, educational experience, and therapeutic practice, contributing to the healthy development and well-being of individuals across a wide range of ages and needs.
