Upasana Chakaraborty has been working in Inodai Waldorf school as a high school language arts teacher for the last three years. She started her teaching career at Sahyadri School KFI (Pune) where she taught a range of subjects starting from middle school English to high school drama. She is a postgraduate in English literature from Jadavpur University where she focused intensely on theater practices, creative writing and psychoanalysis.
As a high school guardian and language arts teacher, her work revolves around guiding students to develop an analytical perspective to understand stories, plays/ characters and embrace the truth of what it means to be human. She also immerses herself wholeheartedly in shaping and curating the grade 8 annual play where she helps with everything from directing, acting, lights to costume and makeup. Parallelly Upasana spends all her free time in painting thought journals using mixed media. |
